Join us in celebrating our love story and wedding details!

Some love stories begin with a chance encounter—ours began with a swipe right. On November 14, 2021, Felicia and Sam went on their very first date. Neither of them knew it at the time, but that night would be the start of something truly special.
From that day forward, their connection only grew deeper. By the following June, the words “I love you” were spoken, and a new chapter began. That summer, Sam brought Felicia to Nantucket, his favorite place on earth. It didn’t take long for the island to capture Felicia’s heart as well. Between Sam’s early mornings spent fishing and Felicia’s afternoons reading on the beach, Nantucket quickly became their shared sanctuary—a place filled with sunshine, laughter, and memories they continue to cherish.
Along the way, Sam proved himself to be the ultimate dog-dad—first to Biggie, whose memory will always be cherished, and now to their two yorkies, Otis and Blanche (who somehow convinced Sam that tiny dogs can be just as lovable as labs!).
Over the past four years, they’ve traveled, celebrated, supported one another, and built a bond that grows stronger every day. They’ve embraced each other’s families as their own, created traditions, and discovered the joy of life’s simplest moments—whether on an adventure far from home or in the quiet of an ordinary day.
Now, Felicia and Sam are ready for their greatest adventure yet—a lifetime together. They cannot wait to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people they love most.
Our engagement ring carries a love story all its own. On May 6, 1944, Sam’s grandfather, Dick, proposed to his beloved Peg with this very ring. They were married for 69 years, building a beautiful life together and even engraving the ring as a symbol of their enduring love.
Fast forward 81 years later, and that same ring became part of our story. On the sandy beach of Sam’s parents’ home in Nantucket—a place so special to us—Sam asked Felicia to marry him. The proposal was private, filled with happy tears, and made even more meaningful by the history carried in that little band of gold.
Now, as we look toward our own marriage, the ring reminds us not only of our love, but also of the legacy of commitment and joy we are so grateful to carry forward.

Founded in 1895, Baltusrol Golf Club has stood as one of the most prestigious and historic institutions in American golf. From its earliest days, the club’s mission has been to serve as the nation’s premier championship venue, a vision set forth by its founder, Louis Keller. That vision quickly became reality: since 1901, Baltusrol has hosted an unparalleled series of national championships, including 16 USGA Championships and two PGA Championships, with more scheduled for the future.
In 2014, Baltusrol was recognized as a National Historic Landmark, one of only four golf properties in the country to receive this honor. Much of this distinction is owed to the work of renowned early-20th-century architect A.W. Tillinghast, who between 1918 and 1935 transformed Baltusrol with his groundbreaking dual-course design. His “course beautiful” philosophy combined strategic challenge with natural beauty, creating layouts that have inspired generations of players and architects alike.
The Lower Course, which opened in 1922, is perennially ranked among the finest tests in golf. It has been the setting for some of the sport’s most memorable moments, hosting 11 major championships to date, including four U.S. Opens, two PGA Championships, and the 2023 Women’s PGA Championship, with its third PGA Championship to follow in 2029. Following a meticulous restoration by architect Gil Hanse in 2021, the Lower Course now reflects Tillinghast’s original vision while embracing modern agronomic practices.
The Upper Course, no less storied, first appeared on the national stage at the 1936 U.S. Open and later hosted the 1985 U.S. Women’s Open. Known for its beauty, length, and challenge, it consistently ranks among the finest in the nation. A comprehensive restoration, also led by Gil Hanse, is currently underway and will be unveiled in 2025, ensuring that the Upper Course continues to stand alongside the Lower as part of Baltusrol’s unrivaled dual championship layout.
Today, Baltusrol remains synonymous with tradition, excellence, and the enduring spirit of championship golf—a legacy that continues to unfold more than a century after its founding.
